Lately, I’ve noticed that while everyone stays respectful and supportive during workouts, the energy tends to fade a bit when the workout ends. Athletes are catching their breath, staying in their spot, maybe chatting quietly — but there aren’t as many “Attaboys!” or “Let’s go!” moments anymore.
Here’s the thing — you don’t need to jump in and finish someone’s last few burpees or scream in their face to motivate them. Sometimes, all it takes is a shout of encouragement or a quick high five to push someone through those final reps.
